And add:

Yomei as a Race, even for characters without a clan and implement a special abilities section in the registration form for them.... or

create two seperate registration forms for simplification between human and youmei?

A few voted upon and thought out in a group.....customized new villages?

the Exp and Combat Skills systems work. It could use refining, but everything can always use refining.

As for the civilian classes, I can't see anyone opting out of using everything except Tai and Bukijutsu.

For the villages; while six is a bit much early on, integrating them later as more people join would require some less than graceful writing and bullshit on our part. That is, unless we allow the players to take or make them. Things like Amegakure or Takigakure might become major villages, just as Oto did. I don't believe, however, that we should make entirely new villages. The canon ones have known aesthetics, locations and areas of influence. If we made new villages, I'd assume we would redraw the borders. Otherwise, there would be little point.

Currency is something we desperately need drawn out as well. If you like, I can work on that later tonight and post a rough draft.

As for the Human/Youmei issue, I don't think we need to separate the two, but I do think it would be worth it to go into the template and character registration process and iterate on it, iron out kinks.

We need something to differentiate the Youmei from humans. At least, make them more appealing. As of now, we have like, one Youmei on the site. They don't seem to be too appealing to people.

I like how we use Yen instead of Ryo. It was one of the few times my brain high-fived my imagination and worked together. But it needs work. How do villages make money?How do Kages make money? How does money circulate? Can there be inflation? Deflation? Everything needs to be thought of.

Youmei... For the sake of the site, we should make them different than humans. But, as a result, they need much more explaining per character. Or, we could stick to making them clans.

Civilians, either make them more attractive, or remove them, Elders are basically shinobi anyway lol.

As for the currency, is there a reason why we use yen instead of ryo? It seems to me that the system wouldn't change at all from changing the denomination. I actually think we should use ryo because it is used in universe.

I would stay away from inflation and deflation, as well. Since there is no real supply and demand (as the shops have infinite supplies), the change in value would be arbitrary anyway. Unless we want to make the civilian classes, or even shinobi, go out and retrieve resources and learn trades to create items, that is. However, I can't imagine, in this kind of environment, that anyone would want to voluntarily do that.

As for the Kage and Villages, we could give both of them a set daily income. In addition, they both receive a percentage (not the full amount) of the mission's reward. Note that this should not affect the player's earning or the missions' listed rewards.

For circulation, we shouldn't regulate it. We should show the players what they can do from a village perspective: things like shop items, structures, etc. However, we should encourage people to use their money amongst each other, as well. You can buy items from players, bribe people to do or not to do things, pay bounty hunters, create an army, hire someone for mercenary work, etc. Money is a unique system in that it can be used for literally anything. If you want to raise enough funds to rebuild Uzugakure and proclaim yourself Uzukage, you should be allowed to do so. If you want to fund the creation of a chakra powered air ship, you should be allowed to do so. Granted, these things should be expensive and require time investments. Since this world is text based, we should emphasize the idea that anything is possible with enough effort.

Ryo and Yen... Yen is the currency used in Japan and in Naruto in most cases. Yen are the bills used to pay for things in the show and manga.

Ryo are those little golden coins you collect by sliding on wires in the Naruto video games that were used in ancient Japan and are just collectables in modern day.


Other than that, I agree that inflation and all that jazz would lay a layer of complexity that would drive away everyone else that's here to have fun.
